Gigi Coffee Espresso | The Difference Between Indonesia & Columbia

My curiosity have been answered after I tried espresso from two different regions. Yes! Only espresso. No milk. No sugar. So, I gonna share my experience and what it tastes like.

Firstly, for the dark roast espresso from Indonesia beans. It is really spicy and warm although it is not hot. Also, it has a taste of dark chocolate. However, it is too bitter and feels really dry in your mouth which I think is something wrong with the calibration but I think you can still make a cafe latte with it.

Next, for the medium roast espresso from Columbia beans. It is really sour with the combination of bitterness. You may imagine eating a grapefruit which tastes bitter and sour at the same time. I just got a tiny hint of sweetness from it. I think it's perfect for an iced americano with some honey and unflavored soda water in it.

So, what I have read is true that different coffee will have different tastes. It's not just a coffee. Not just bitter. It's an art to be appreciated just like perfume. I will explore more about coffee taste notes after this like the Halu Banana bean from Indonesia and more.

Disclaimer: Just my honest review and maybe will be a different experience for some people. I don't get paid by Gigi Coffee or anybody to publish this writing about their products. I just writing for fun.
